5 Key Tips to keeping your online presence secure

It has dawned on me that I am now much more comfortable (than I was five years ago) with the idea of interacting with other people online, as well as using the internet for searching out careers related information. I have found myself subscribing to more and more blogs, jobs sites, social media tools, (oh, and online retail stores, ssshhh!!) all without paying much attention to the fact that I am leaving a trail of personal information on the thousands of sites that I have visited and subscribed to.

Despite trying to manage my online interactions over the last few years, I have accumulated 10 email addresses, 3 twitter accounts, a Linkedin profile, Facebook page,  2 blog sites and countless subscriptions to sites that were useful at the time, but which I now rarely visit. Not to forget the countless passwords (that I can never remember) that are needed as part of every subscription.
